"G" GRADE, hammerless, side by side 12 gauge shotgun with extractor, gorgeous 30 1/16" Damascus steel barrels with 1/2" wide tapered rib with fine detail scrolling. Barrels, which touch at the muzzle, weigh 4 pounds, 3 ounces, tang safety, very rare 1 size frame, steel bead front sight, double triggers with 13" and 14" LOP, manufacture date 1891 with 5-digit serial number: 68613. All 4 serial numbers match! This shotgun has the correct black butt plate picturing dog with bird in its mouth, stock and forearm in select checkered walnut and made in Meriden, Connecticut with brass shield on bottom of stock. The sharp and legible engraving is Grade II (see pictures). Barrels are in magnificent condition , walnut is superb with pistol grip. The butt plate has small chip on toe, both bores are bright and shiny, workmanship is precision...no rust, pitting or corrosion. The price of this 133 year old gem is $3900 including UPS shipping.
