Standard configuration and all matching K31 rifle, made in 1943, with tangent rear sight graduated 1-15, straight pull bolt, detachable magazine, and metal buttplate. Military sling dated "44". The left side of receiver is marked 756702. The last three didgets of the serial number are repeated on the barrel, the full serial number is on the bottom of the magazine. This rifle is fitted with best quality WF detachable diopter rear sight that is attached to the receiver with a knurled knob, slotted for further tightening. Standard tangent rear sight. WF globe front sight with post insert. Medium walnut stock whose right side is military inspected. The left side just ahead of the sling mount is marked with an "FA". Complete with leather military sling dated "44". Synopsis: Swiss Bern K31, modified for target shooting, now with high quality fully adjustable WF diopter rear sight and WF globe front sight. Condition: VG-Excellent condition with slight fading of the receiver as photographed. Comparable condition sights. Sound stock with scattered handling dings and minor discoloration as carefully photographed. Bright but not mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
