Description:
Pictured is a Paul Morton Custom built rifle in 300 H&H Magnum. This one-of-a-kind rifle was built for a gentlemen by the name of Charles Thomas in the 1970's. At that time Morton was a premier builder of custom rifles. His name can be researched and he was supposedly featured in Reader's Digest at some point.It is built on a Mauser action from Interarms of Virginia and Manchester England, with a Flaig's barrel. The bluing is a deep mirror in near perfect condition, and the stock, custom made by Morton, is mecticulously engraved and inletted for this special rifle. The rifle comes with a Gloss Leupold VariX III 4.5-14 with AO and with Leupold bases and heavy duplex reticle. Scope is in like new condition. With the exception of a blemish on the left hand side of the cheek piece (see pic) this rifle is in near perfect condition with no evidence that it has ever been fired.
