Model 1884 .45-70 Springfield Carbine (Trapdoor) in original unaltered condition with a nice even plum-brown patina. Absolutely NO evidence of refinishing or sanding. Just a stunning all-original unaltered Model 1884 Springfield Carbine. Mechanically tight and correct. This carbine is 100% correct in every way. I’ve included several pictures to show the overall condition. You won’t be disappointed. This Model 1884 has all the arsenal upgrades including the C-marked Buffington carbine rear sight and protector. Standard cavalry issued carbine with nice crisp markings.
