"Paul Jaeger Custom Mauser 98 .250-3000 Savage caliber rifle. Paul Jaeger custom Mauser rifle in neat .250 Savage caliber. The stock is nicely figured dark walnut with ebony forend tip and checkered steel buttplate. The bolt is jeweled, the bolt knob is checkered and the floor plate is engraved lightly. The barrel is marked “Paul Jaeger-Jenkintown, Pa." The stock has an expertly repaired crack at the pistol grip, barely noticeable. A fine example of classic craftsmanship by one of the master gunmakers.
