AMERICAN PERCUSSION 8 GAUGE SIDE X SIDE MARKET SHOTGUN WITH MAPLE STOCK SIGNED “PERKINS” CIRCA 1850-60. 47” o/a with 30 ½” Damascus barrels engraved on rib “LONDON FINE TWIST”. Locks maker signed “PERKINS”. Engraved steel mounts and lock plates. Double triggers. Checkered maple stock with the original finish. Steel butt plate. 14” pull. Original hickory ramrod. Excellent overall with original brown mixed with patina on barrels, locks and mounts. Perfect working order and very good plus bores. Possibly the Herkimer County, New York maker R. Perkins.
