Handsome conversion from percussion to flintlock using a British early Victorian era Royal Ordnance inspected original rifle flint lock that fits the mortise quite well. 37” octagon rifled .32 cal. barrel signed “R. HOLMES”. Tiger maple stock with brass mounts and patchbox. Coin silver, wedge escutcheons and cheek rest and wrist inlays. Excellent condition with stock having the original finish and barrel with original brown finish and patina mix. Working order and excellent bore.
