Description:
A great blank for those that like slab sawn wood. I like to look at the top and bottom edge of this cut of wood, if you have closely spaced mineral lines then the blank will hold it's color and figure. While the final figure in slab sawn wood is generally less predictable when carved than quarter sawn, the figure in slab can be incredible. This piece is bit wild but that what "slabber's" love. A true exhibition rifle blank, cut and air dried for 20 years, it is READY TO CARVE!
