S&W No.1, 3rd Issue, fitted with a 3 3/16 inch barrel, smooth ivory birds head grips, fluted cylinder, is nickel plated, hand engraved receiver, side-plate, barrel, and cylinder, tip-up action, and chambered in .22 Short. This No. 1 Smith is in very good condition, retaining 85% of its nickel plate, with most loss on the cylinder. The grips fit well and are in fine condition, with only one small chip on the left grip panel. The bore is shootable, with strong rifling, but has some spotting throughout. The action functions well, with good timing, but is a little loose. The gun comes with a custom made presentation case, which is in very fine condition, with sound hinges and is nicely lined in velvet. Antique firearm, FFL not required.
