This is a very rare and all-original 2nd Issue "Zero Series" Walther P-38 pistol complete with it's original matching serial-numbered factory magazine. There were only about 10,000 of these pistols made in 1939-40 making them quite rare today, as most of them were lost to combat in the 5 years of warfare that followed. During the short production run of the Zero Series there were 3 distinct variations produced of this model, called "Issues" by collectors today. This particular example is serial number "03234", which falls in the serial number range of 02205 to 03478 that identifies "2nd Issue" pistols. More description to follow.
