Description:
This Kimber Model 82 is a right-hand bolt-action rifle in .25-20 Winchester. It has a 22-inch barrel. Integral grooves are milled into the receiver to accept scope rings. No iron sights. The butt stock is walnut with checkered grip with a black steel pistol-grip cap. The forearm is checkered walnut with a black fore-end cap. It has sling swivel bases attached. This beautiful rifle appears to be unfired. The .25-20 Winchester dates to 1895 and was developed for the Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle. In the early 20th century, it was a popular small game and varmint round. This is an unusual cartridge for a bolt action rifle and subsequentially makes this a rare rifle.
