Description:
This is a P38 in very good condition. It is Stamped AC over 42. THis was the Nazi code for the Walther factory the "42" indicates it was an early production manufactured in 1942. This year had a nice polish and blue unlike later production years. The bluing is appoxamatly 85%-90% with most of the wear at the muzzle of the barrel. The bore has a shiny reflective finish with some light signs of pitting and or fouling in the grooves. There are no import marking on this pistol. it has all it's original markings with the proper waffenamps marked with an eagle over a 359 also indicating it was manufactured at the Walther factory. The frame has turned to a brown plumb color as you may see on these earlier P38's. THe magazine also has the proper markings for the Walther factory as can be seen in the pictures. Very nice all matching P38.
