Description:
Standard configuration single action pistol with 4.75” barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detents are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release on the front of trigger guard. Disassembly shows a matching, original hammer group with no half cock. Fitted with serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with two matte finish magazines and a later dated “69” Swiss military holster with “66” dated strap.

Condition:
98% bright, original salt blue with holster wear as expected from a pistol that has seen minimal field use. No suggestion of touch-up. Comparable condition grips, and two matte finish magazines. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG holster with scattered scuffs and staining as photographed. Very nicely manufacturer marked and dated. A high condition, high polish military P49, with its matching, original hammer group, military holster and spare magazine.
