A near mint early Marlin 336, before the push thru safety's, etc. when they were made the way they should be! And this one with JM marked Microgroove barrel, all original finish wood & metal, perfect bore and chamber, etc. I doubt one could find a better one unless it was new in the original box. I believe this one was made in 1982 (from serial number records), and that makes it about 40 years old....
