Description:
PENDING SALE This is a Cased Colt 5 ½’ barrel 1878 D.A. 45 with a Pall Mall London address. It was made in mid to late 1879. The mechanical is very good crisp and tight and has a very good bright and shiny bore with strong rifling. The frame and barrel retain 85% nickel and the cylinder 80% nickel finish. The grips are very fine with out chips or cracks. The serial number is 3637. The box comes with an empty cartridge tray, oil bottle and a cleaning rod. The box and label are very good condition but the bottom wood shows a solid repair to it.
