Description:
From a mid-west sale, a Colt Woodsman Match Target semi-auto, pistol 22 cal. new in the box (see photos). At the sale they said this model pistol was produced by colt in 1940 and is just as it came from the factory (see photos). I bought this gun as new and unfired and after close inspection it is pristine new. I have barely touched the gun. I have not worked the action or any of the levers or buttons on the gun other than to remove the magazine. It is slightly sticky with old factory lubricant. Dried lubricant is on the frame, under where the grips were. There is no ware on the sharp edges and the finish is unblemished; although, in some of the photos the royal blue finish reflects other colors and in some of the close up photos there are little white specks. They are specks of dust as I have not cleaned or wiped this gun down, I have barely touched it. The only fault I can find is that someone has removed the grips. The grip screws are there but the grips are gone and I did not get them with the gun (see photos) and someone, a long time ago, wrapped the edge of the box with tape. The end lable is barely legible through the tape (see photos) I am not a collector or an expert; therefore, I am offering it with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If it fails to live up to your expectations in any way return it for a full and speedy refund including your return shipping (see my feedback). (after listing I received information this gun was manufactured in 1953).  We trade guns. Cashiers check or money order only. I do not recommend firing any weapon until it has been thoroughly examined by a certified gunsmith. Sorry no California sales. Ship to FFL or C&R holder only. Shipping $25.00 which includes a tracking number emailed to you. Insurance is optional. Missouri residents pay 8.45% sales tax where applicable.
