*** SOLD *** Nice condition period oak & leather case with recently relined interior and replacement straps. Accommodates barrels up to 29-1/2” length plus a top extension. Barrel compartment could easily be lengthened to accept 30” barrels. Brass corners. Comes with mahogany cleaning rod, brass oil bottle, and brass Abercrombie & Fitch snap caps. As is typical of most period cases there is no key. *** The exterior leather is in good condition with some scratches and marks from normal usage. The hinges are sound. There is a 1-3/4” damaged spot on the top(See photo #2). The interior has recently been relined with green wool baize and all the partitions are firmly secured. Exterior dimensions are 32-1/4” by 9” by 4”. The barrel compartment will accommodate barrels up to 29-1/2” plus a top extension and could be altered to fit 30” barrels. Currently there is a Lancaster trade label mounted on the inside of the case lid but that can easily be replaced with a different maker’s label by the purchaser. *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges. Please note that the photographs are part of the description. I give a 3-day inspection period which begins when the merchandise is delivered.
