You are looking/ on a limited production Browning Superposed Centennial Continental Combo Set produced in Belgium during 1978 for Browning's 100th Anniversary. This fine set is a matched rifle/shotgun set with both shotgun and rifle barrels fitted on the Superposed receiver. The barrels are chambered in .30-06 for the 24" rifle set and 26", 20 gauge for the shotgun set. The receiver is engraved brushed nickel with gold inlayed game scenes on both side panels. There is some light corrosion present on the top and bottom of the right side panel, but is currently inactive. This was due to improper storage in damp conditions. as can be seen in the photos this is barely noticeable, otherwise the metal is almost perfect. The wood stocks are of high quality walnut, finely checkered with the factory oil finish. This combination comes it's original walnut presentation case from Browning. In summary a beautiful Browning Limited Edition Combination Set for your collection that anyone would be proud to own.
