Description:
WWI pistol manufactured in Erfurt, Germany by the Imperial Arsenal. Serial number on underside of barrel and front of the frame with smaller components numbered with the last two digits. Unit markings are located on the front grip strap "113.R.2.9" indicates its service with the 113th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Company, 9th pistol of the 29th Division. Numerous British proof marks on the pistol. Erfurt proof mark of a Crown/D is located in several areas. This pistol was re-blued at some point in its long history.
