Factory engraved 1851 sporting rifles are extremly rare with only 5 or 6 examples known.
This model uses the maynard tape primers.
The bore shows some roughness.
The lever spring is weak.
All iron parts have been refinished and the wood is refinished or possibly replaced
The tang sight is missing.
The caliber is .36 percussion.
