William Read & Sons was a sporting goods company that was established in Boston, MA in 1826. One of the many items they sold was this flap holster. Made to fit small revolvers from that era such as S&W and Colt. After being in business for 96 years in Boston, the company was bought out by Winchester in 1921. A well preserved survivor from a time past. Buyer pays shipping.
