Payment Types Accepted: Postal Money Order Description: SOLD!! This is a great condition model 1894 rifle chambered for the 25-35 cal. round. This rifle has the 26" octagon barrel with a decent bore. It is not a bright bore, but has strong rifling, and more then likely shoots well. This rifle with S/N 232013 was built in 1901, and has been well cared for over the past 120 years. The script, caliber designation, and model samping on the tang are all crisp and clear. The metal condition is in overall great shape showing no corrosion, and quite a bit of original factory blue remaining. The original walnut stocks show minimal wear, but have had an additional coat of varnish added at some point. The stocks show no cracks or repairs, but the butt stock has a kill talley of 8 marks scribed along the left side of the tang (pic.12). The stocks don't appear to have been sanded much, if any, as the wood still fits proud to all the metal. The front sight is original, but the mid range sight is an after market Marbles V notch. All in all this is an exceptional 7th year collector quality, rifle in a rare and desirable caliber. I prefer Postal Money Orders, unless otherwise agreed. Thanks for your interest.
