Up for your consideration is a Pre-64 Winchester Westerner Model 70 in .264-win mag. Circa 1960.
This Westerner exhibits a 26-inch barrel with correct front sight hood. The standard stock has the correct brown White-line 325 Deluxe recoil pad. The LOP is 13 5/8. Winchester used White-line Deluxe recoil pads on certain rifles from 1960-1964. The barrel retains 99% precent of factory bluing with correct sight hood. Bore rates as excellent. The receiver retains 99% of factory bluing, The floor plate and trigger guard have 99% of factory bluing present. Bolt is control feed and with bolt handle and 3 position safety retain 99% bluing with ware on the bolt knob. The stock has factory finish in great shape with normal storage nicks. Factory swing swivels. The brown White-line 325 recoil pad in great shape. A rare Model 70 in excellent shape a real opportunity for a Winchester collector. Thank you ed
