Description:
SOLD!!! This is a 22 semi-auto that chambers the short catdrige only. This gun with S/N 44022 was built in 1940. It has been modified with a Weaver B4 scope that has clear optics and fine crosshairs. The barrel has also been shortened to 20", crowned and dovetailed for a front sight. Both barrel sights are missing, but this little home made carbine shoots quite well using the scope. The original stock is in great shape, with the original finish, and only one knick on the right side pistol grip area, has never had sling lugs added, and fits proud to the metal. The bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling. All the script, Proof Marks, and S/N are crisp and clear, and the original factory blue is in great shape.
