Description:
Marlin 1893 Rifle in Good condition. This Marlin features both side feeding and ejecting with a 26" barrel. The top of the barrel is roll-stamped: "* MARLIN FIRE-ARMS CO. NEW-HAVEN. CT, U.S.A.* / * PATENTED. OCT. 11. 1887. APRIL. 2. 1889. AUGUST 1 1893*" in two lines ahead of the rear sight and "- SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL-" is boldly roll-stamped on the left side of the barrel below the rear sight. The caliber designation "30-30" is stamped on the top of the barrel between the rear sight and the receiver. "-MARLIN SAFETY-" is roll stamped on the top of the receiver in script letters with small foliate designs on either end of the marking. All markings are faded but still visible. Minor handling marks and wear on the barrel with similar wear on the furniture. Proffesionally reblued. SN: 191907 .30-30 Winchester
