Description:
WWI 1918 Colt Black Army 1911, U.S. Property marked, original finish and grips. Original finish remains at 80% or better, grips show mark on RT grip but no cracks or wood loss. Holster is soft and plyable. No rust or pitting on gun.
These guns are called Black Army because of the dark finish used for a period these were produced. The Black finish did not wear well and this gun is high condition with the amount of original finish on gun.
Action works well and gun is tight, good bore with no hidden gotchas, a good honest WWI Colt 1911. (We have another Black Army Colt listed here as well.)
