Description:
Good old civil war canteen with wool cover. Strap brackets are firmly in place as well as pewter spout that is marked R H. Gratz Phila. Gratz had an 1862 contract for canteens. Canteen is solid but has some dents and cover has some scatterd holes but still displays well.
