Description:
26 inch round barrel with a full length magazine tube and crescent rifle style buttplate. A very good near excellent bore. Tight crisp action. Barrel and mag tube retain most all of the thinning original blue. Sights include a German silver blade front and a Winchester 3 leaf Express rear. Receiver has about 50% original blue remains with the balance turning a plum/brown patina. Strong traces of case color on the hammer and lever. Walnut stocks look and fit good. Forearm features a little extra figure to it. Just the usual light handling mars. This is an early 4 digit serial number gun. Just a good honest looking well cared for 125 year old Winchester. Hard to find in this condition!
