It is a classic old school Mini-14. the new ones just don‚‚t compare to the quality of these early rifles. This one has had a recent tune up at the local gun shop. and functions flawlessly. It has the original wood stock, but it has been cerakoted in gray with black flecks and has a \"brand\" on both sides of the stock. The coating on the wood is in great shape, except where action chipped it by the mag well (see photo of bottom of the rifle). There are some minor dings on the edge of the butt plate, but they don‚‚t effect the functionality or beauty of the rifle. Bore shows no pitting, and has strong, crisp rifling.
