About Us: I'm a mid-career professional & firearms enthusiast. I served in the US Army (2003-2006, OIF/OEF) as a SAW gunner and later as an RTO & designated marksman. The firearms I'm selling come from my private collection. I tend to collect some of the 'classic' sporting rifles & shotguns, and through the years I have come across a few pieces that are somewhat unique. Description:
I'm selling a RARE Super Grade Winchester Pre-64 Model 70, chambered in .300 H&H. Per the Blue Book of Gun Values, "the Model 70 is one gun for which caliber ranks before condition in terms of desirability" (S.P. Fjestad). The rifle has a 4-round magazine and is set in a checkered walnut pistol grip stock. Produced in 1953, the rifle is mechanically sound and shows no signs of alterations. The hallmark 1-1/2" sling swivels are original. The rifle shows minimal sign of handling marks on the metal & wood.
The rifle does not come with a scope, scope rings, or a case. Length of pull is 13-1/2." Weight is 7 lbs, 7 oz.
