We offer you a “Gorgeous” Smith & Wesson S&W Model 14-3 K-38 Masterpiece .38 Special 6″ Revolver made in 1969.
This Smith & Wesson model 14-3 K-38 Masterpiece wears a 6 inch pinned barrel with an excellent bore with no issues. The timing and lock-up are excellent and the pistol functions as it should. The bluing is in excellent condition with very few minor signs of use or wear as you can see. It wears a set of factory target grips that replaced the service grips that it came with and they are also in excellent condition. It has the original serial number matching box as you can see. The box is empty but original to the gun. Overall this is an excellent example of this model that is 53 years old and looks gorgeous. We have shown the complete pistol in the pictures for your consideration.
The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The yoke cut is marked with the serial number and model number “K852731 / MOD. / 14-3” and the yoke is marked “62183 / O C / L”. The right side of the barrel is marked “38 S.&W. SPECIAL CTG.”. The side plate is marked with the “S&W” trademark logo, and below the cylinder, the frame is marked with the four line “Marcas Registradas” address. The butt of the grip is marked with the serial number “K936642”. The left side of the grip frame is marked “T / 62183 / O”.
