I have for sale a 1947 12 gauge ithaca pump shotgun. This gun comes with two barrels. One numbered to the gun is a 30" full choke, the other is a 24" deer slayer with rifle sights. These barrels are actually choked improved cylinder. These are great for upland hunting. This package covers everything. This rig is also a great home defense piece. This gun was purchased from the family of the original owner. I think this gun did a little deer hunting and shot a few predators around the farm but that"s about it. Notice the hand enhanced engraving on the receiver truly an early gun. No carry wear on the bottom of the receiver, all things considered excellent shape for a seventy five year old gun. I suspect this gun was not wiped off a time or two but nothing major. Hard to find ithaca pumps this age in this shape. I rate wood a shade under ninety five and metal ninety percent. Gun is very tight. This gun has probably been fired less than a hundred times in it's seventy five year existance. You can almost see Lou Smith with this one over his shoulder. Gun handle's like a twenty. Just like their motto feel fresher finish further with an ithaca repeater. I consider this somewhat of a collector piece.
