I have for sale a 1951 Ithaca 37 trap grade 12 gauge serial number T310203. I might add not an easy one to find. This gun comes with a thirty inch barrel marked full choke. I suspect this choke was opened up to modified at least according to my brass choke gauge. I have shot at least five rounds of trap with this gun and had no problem breaking clays at sixteen yards. This fine gun has the knick rib that is found on those great ithaca single barrel trap guns. Great wood and hand checkering on this seventy year old gun. I think this gun did more hunting than trap shooting. Gun is tight. One scratch on butt sock but nothing major. I rate whole gun at about ninety percent condition. All original including recoil pad. A good represenative for a ithaca collector at a good price. I am thinning out my collection. This gun should be shooting pheasants out west not sitting in a gunsafe in the northeast.
