Very good overall condition, fading original finishes. Manufactured 1915.
Correctly marked Barrel with S and P on left lug. Firing pin retainer marked S. Correct Stocks and early type magazine. Unable to see marking on barrel bushing, spoke with another collector he says he’s never seen one marked. However, Clawson’s book lists barrel bushing as marked. Safety appears to be correct type from Clawson’s book.
I have not broken the 1911 down to all parts. I’m not comfortable with hammer and punch.
The gun feels and looks all matching in patina and appearance. Grips had the never been taken off feel as I only removed the left grip.
