Sold...Robert...This is a stunning bronze sculpture made by William Turner, proprietor/sculptor of the Turner Foundry on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. This is a life size sculpture "Cornfield Canada Goose". This is #3 that was cast and weighs about 175 pounds. It is mounted on a wooden base. I have the original signed and dated certificate of authenticity bound in a booklet from the Turner Foundry. It was cast in 1988 and I acquired it from a local estate here in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The Turner Foundry is still in business and this bronze is easily verified by the artist, William Turner. It has its natural patina and has never been cleaned or altered in any way. A beautiful bronze sculpture that would compliment the finest of homes, game room or hunting lodge. Local pickup preferred. To ship and crate about 450.00 depending on where you live.
