Description:
A clean working bulldog .450 cal revolver with a rounf 2 3/4" barrel, and a clea rifled bore. Action works well on both SA ad DA. The smooth grips are black walnut and are very good with the exterior metal abou 90% armory blue with wear to high points.HAs .450 stamed on the left side, and a crown over ML on the left, and crown over R for Leige maker proof. About all the British Bulldogs and other European countries came from Belgium, as found in the definitive book : The British Bulldog Revolver by Geoge Layman with one of my former fine guns on the cover photo.Made fampus by the movies of Sherlock Holmes, these were often used by the Irish Constabulary. This fine gun has the lanyard loop also. A very strong revolver that I'm sure could tell some stories! Will nor ship to some locations, please ask.
