Description:
This Springfield Armory Model U.S. Rifle M1 Garand is a right-hand semi-auto U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Springfield Caliber. It has a 24-inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood pistol grip. The stock in very good condition with few handling marks. The forearm is a smooth grip two-piece hardwood. Receiver Serial Number X6000581 (1956-57). These are the so-called "X Guns" among the last M1 Rifles of which approximately 2000 were made. The barrel is stamped S-A-4-47. Muzzle Erosion = 1, Throat Erosion = 3. .30-06 Springfield
