The beautiful Browning Olympian chambered in 30-06 with the more desirable F.N. long extractor. Manufactured in 1970, this rifle's craftsmanship is just breathtaking, featuring some of the finest walnut that was meticulously hand checkered and carved. This model manufactured in 1970 was one of 38 made that year and one of 453 made in the thirteen years in production. (Making it the most popular caliber made in the Olympians with 25.64% overall) There were six game scenes in the Olympian rifles; for the 30-06, it was the Deer, Antelope, Bear, and Elk. Game scenes on this rifle were engraved by Master Engravers Louis Acampo and Angelo Bee. This rifle is in excellent overall condition, making it a perfect addition to any collection and one that can be passed on for many generations to come. Dimensions are as follows: Barrel: 22", L.O.P. 13 3/4", Weight: 7lbs 8oz.
