This gun is nearly mint. This is a scarce combination to be 38-40 and have the 4 3/4 inch barrel. It is an original Colt Bisley that has been restored by Colt. Colt used to restore guns to factory new specs, making them a real Colt collector without the detraction of a refinish that many people have done. There is a huge difference between a restoration and a refinish and this gun is resored by Colt. R.L. Wilson confirms the Colt restoration in his Colt book as he describes the ampersand (&) that Colt put on the right side of the trigger guard signifying their work. The pictures show how nice this gun really is. The grips are not worn down and fit perectly. Every aspect of the revolver is as new, with the action timed and crisp as new. The bore is bright and rifling sharp. You won't find a nicer revolver in anywhere near this price range. This is a real nice revolver...$3999.00
