Description:
Rare British East India Company  3rd Model or "India Pattern" Brown Bess musket approximately .80 caliber.  Well marked and in overall good condition.  Very Early East India Company markings, lock dated 1806. London lock maker Brander on lock. British acceptance marks on gun. This gun has seen a lot of use but is in a solid condition. No finish on the metal and stock may have been cleaned or refinished due to the condition. Hammer works fine in full cock position but hangs up in half cock. A nice old gun which has seen a lot of use in its day. Barrel appears to be in usual condition for a gun of its age
