Description:

10 Gauge Parker Bros. Grade 2 Hammer double with 32" Damascus Steel barrels with bright shiny bores with only the slightest of roughness. Chambers are 2 7/8"  Receiver has 20-25% residual case colors on the sideplates with game bird engraving. Hammers and all screws are unmolested and all lettering and engraving is sharp and crisp. Trigger guard blue remains at 60%. Highly figured pistol grip buttstock with Parker Dogs Head Buttplate chipped at the toe but easily repaired. Splinter forend is completely solid.   DAC - 2" DAH 3 1/4"   9lb 12oz
This piece is a real unmolested survivor. It is a completely original gun that has not been tampered. There is a dime size area of old shallow pitting on the left barrel just in front of the chamber as pictured. The gun remains tight and on face with excellent mechanics. It is a superb candidate for restoration with stock refinish, barrel browning, and buttplate repair. I would do nothing with the receiver. Or just repair the buttplate and use it as is. An outstanding vintager piece with highly figured wood. It should be good for another 137 years for its next lucky owner.
