NICE CONDITION 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE IN .25-20 CALIBER, #932XXX, MADE 1924. Fine example that shows nearly all the bright barrel and magazine blue with even the barrel band showing fine deep blue with wear only on the outside edge. The receiver retains fine blue on the sides that is thinning and mixing with some gray, but still retains good blue. The Walnut stock and forend are excellent and show very tight wood to metal fit. Correct late markings and original carbine sight with slide intact. Exc. blue on the loading gate, tight action and excellent bore. The screws in the receiver appear unturned. Often these .25-20 carbines saw hard use on ranches and farms, this is a nice one.
