looks like swiss canton sniper rifle 33 inch rifled barrel with strong rifling appx 41 caliber some pitting '' 43 inches oa'' stock is solid with duffel bag cut ;;; horn forend tip with minor cracks in forend of stock'' barrel and lock marked''''''' jon muller in bern ''' gun has a wood tube inside of barrel bands and ram rod fits inside this wooden tube ,, lock is strong but set trigger not working .. after cocking trigger must be pushed forward to fire .. blank in barrel sight'''' weighs about 13 lbs '''' lots of engraving antique circa 1850'' very good condition patina blue brown .. in the last picture see the wood tube under the barrel that holds ramrod
