RU5-54: Russia SKS 45, 7.62x39mm. Semi-auto 10 shot. RARE Izhevsk Marked 1954 on top cover. Import marked, matching numbers on metal. Metal is 95% finish. Bolt carrier is chromed, blade bayonet, milled receiver, milled bolt assembly, and milled bayonet lug. Heavy barrel lug, milled trigger group. THIS METAL IS ORIGINAL, NO BLACK PAINTED METAL!! Hardwood stock and hand guard in excellent condition. Replacement stock and hand guard are stamped with horizontal numbers as is correct for this arsenal. These guns were once believed to be ex DDR East German issued weapons to reserve troops as signified by the arsenal stamp /1\ on the receiver. This was one of the Western most Russian Arsenals, close to East Germany. Excellent bore, Includes sling, cleaning rod, cleaning kit, ammo pouch and clips. Rare Izhevsk arsenal 1954. This gun comes out of the personal collection of YooperJ. YooperJ has been an active collector of military guns for over 30 years.
