Description:
Winchester pre 64 model 70 in 270 WCF. Built in 1947, this rifle retains 98% of the original blue and wood finishes. The 24" barrel has a mint bore. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The rifle has a Zeiss 10x36 scope installed with Jaeger detachable mounts. It also has a period correct Redfield peep sight installed. Both the scope and peep sight are sighted in. It comes with a European braided sling installed. This is a very accurate rifle and a true vintage classic. Not a safe queen but a rifle that should be hunted and used. C&R eligible.
