Savage Model 720 US marked shotgun. Not the green of the fleet but still a good honest used US military used shotgun. 26" barrel with a decent bore. Barrel is a nice gray / brown patina with scattered blue in protected areas. Barrel is marked with P, flaming bomb, and the four ****. Receiver exhibits some original blue but is mostly a gray / brown patina. Receiver is marked with US, P, and flaming bomb. Both forend and buttstock have had repairs (see pics). Wrong buttplate. The gun does function properly. These 720's are getting harder and harder to find, so if you can overlook some imperfections, this is a good gun with military history for a great price. During WWII the US Army Air Forces bought a large number of these guns which were used by bomber crew gunners for practice (shooting clay targets from moving platforms) and by security forces in the riot version. There is some evidence that they were also available to bomber crews for recreation. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it. Please feel free to ask questions.
