This Custom Winchester 52 Barreled Action built by Steve Durren Gunmaker, current president of the American Custom Gun Makers Guild, is ready to be stocked by your gunsmith, or if you can talk him into it Steve. This Is a rare opportunity to get a fine example of Steve's metal smithing ,
( he is retiring within the next two years and is not accepting any further commissions. This action was was built by Steve between 7 and 9 years ago, my consignor was going to have it stocked eventually but plans have changed so he is having it offered up for sale.
It features a octagon to round barrel profile, express sights, custom scope blocks( to fit Talley rings.) Blackburn bottom metal, Steve modified the b model action to fit the c type bottom metal, one major modification included a new custom built trigger. The rear of the receiver also has been resulpted to be more graceful. It also has had a oberndorf style bolt handle installed.
