Cased Colt Frontier Scout Florida Territory Sesquicentennial 1822-1972 Commemorative Single Action Revolver This revolver is UNFIRED in the wood Colt box. Box has some scratches on the top and sides. The gun inside is beautiful and would be nice in a colt collection.

Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “1822 – FLORIDA TERRITORY – 1972”. The top of the barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.”. The left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo and “PAT. SEPT. 19. 1871 / JULY 2, 72. JAN. 19, 75”. The underside of the frame is marked with the serial number. The left side of the trigger guard is marked “VP” and “2”. The circumference of the cylinder is are marked “22 L.R.” in three locations.
Barrel Length: 4 3/8”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch at the rear of the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth wood with gold-colored Colt medallions. The grips have a few scattered minor marks with one more notable nick at the bottom rear corner of the left panel. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 99% of its metal finish. The cylinder has a faint, incomplete turn line, not through the finish. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this gun rate is in Excellent condition.
