Description:
Fair condition, finish wear, nicks and scratches, few areas of light corrosion. All visible numbers match. Vickers Lugers are basically similar to the Dutch East Indies Lugers delivered by DWM before 1914. The only difference lies in the markings and finish. The front toggle link carries the words "VICKERS LTD" instead of the DWM scroll. Most guns have the coarse checkered grips with the "GS" (weapons maker school, the fabricator of parts in Java). The finish is not as well done as the DWM pistols. The Vickers pistols carry the crown "W" on the left side of the receiver (initially on the right side). All are marked "RUST" (Dutch for SAFE) in the safety area. 9mm Luger
