The Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 in .357 Magnum. Also known as the Highway Patrolman, It is an N-frame revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge. It was manufactured 1954 to 1986. It was developed as more affordable version of the Model 27. As a result, the Model 28 does not have the highly polished finish of the Model 27 but is identical mechanically. .357 Magnum
